The 14-match regular season will run from February through May, with FC Dallas playing seven home matches and seven away matches. Dallas will open its home schedule against the Portland Timbers on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. CT before hosting the LA Galaxy on Wednesday, March 3. The club will then travel to face San Diego FC on Saturday, March 6, before returning to Toyota Stadium to host the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, March 13. FC Dallas will visit Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 20, then host the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, March 27. Dallas will then travel to face LAFC on Saturday, April 3. Dallas will return home to host the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, April 10, before beginning a two-match road stretch against the Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, April 17, and Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday, April 21. The final stretch of the regular season features two home matches at Toyota Stadium. Dallas will host Texas Derby rivals the Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, April 24, and St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, May 1, before closing the regular season on the road against Minnesota United FC on Saturday, May 8. Following the 14-match regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the Audi 2027 MLS Cup Playoffs. The postseason will begin in May and culminate with the 2027 MLS Cup presented by Audi. FC Dallas will announce complete broadcast details and home theme nights at a later date. WHAT IS THE SPRINT SEASON? The 2027 MLS Sprint Season is a transitional competition that will bridge the league’s current calendar with its new summer-to-spring schedule, which begins in July 2027. During the Sprint Season, clubs will compete exclusively against teams in their own conference, with no interconference play. FC Dallas will face each of its 14 Western Conference opponents once, with seven home matches and seven away matches. The Sprint Season will determine qualification for the Audi 2027 MLS Cup Playoffs, crown the 2027 MLS Cup champion and determine berths spots in the 2028 Concacaf Champions Cup and Leagues Cup. The top eight clubs in each conference will advance to the single-elimination playoffs, with every postseason match, including MLS Cup, hosted by the team with the higher position in the final 2027 Supporters’ Shield standings. MLS Cup will feature the first interconference matchup of the Sprint Season. The playoffs will begin in May and will not pause for FIFA international windows. MLS clubs will also continue competing in domestic cup tournaments, including the 2028 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and 2028 Canadian Championship.
